Non-Crab Feed -Virtual Fundraiser

Dear Friend of Capernaum,

This past year has been one of the most difficult times in our lives. And its been especially difficult for society’s most vulnerable, like youth with special needs and the loved ones that care for them. For them, the dangers of COVID and its associated isolation has made life lonelier than ever. The emotional toll is incalculable.

Capernaum has risen to meet this current crisis by creating virtual and live programming to replace what we previously did live. Youth come to Club online. They take cooking, art, and dance classes the same way. We’ve put together multi-day camp experiences. Every month, we hold a in person, socially distant drive-by parade so we can wave to our friends. In the past year, we’ve held over 150 different events. That’s more ministry than we’ve ever done. In addition, we developed a 501c3 for our Capernaum Friends who are 22yrs old and older, Infinite Friends. More details to come!

In the midst of the increased demands, we have experienced a decrease in funding. This financial gap is why we are writing to you today. Will you consider sponsoring our Non-Event Fundraiser?

You have been a huge supporter of the Capernaum Crab Feed. We know the reality is you participated in this event because you believe in what we do. We also recognize that many of you have also felt the financial sting of the past year. If you have felt the crippling effects of his time, we want you to know we are with you and will continue to pray for increase.
